Bachelor’s and Master’s Thesis Opportunities – Academic Year 2026/2027

Are you looking for the perfect place to conduct your thesis research?

We invite you to join the Department of Embryology at UW! Our current projects investigate key aspects of early development, including: the differentiation of the first cell lineages in mouse embryos, mechanisms regulating embryo size, and factors influencing the quality of gametes and embryos. Our research utilizes animal models alongside a wide range of advanced techniques, such as embryo and embryonic stem cell (ESC) cultures, in vitro fertilization (IVF), chimera generation, live and immunofluorescence staining, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, time-lapse imaging, microinjection, and RT-qPCR.

We also offer several literature-based topics for Bachelor’s theses.
