Two New Publications from the Research Team of Aneta Suwińska

Celebrating two new publications from the research team of Aneta Suwińska, PhD, DSc!

Eliza Winek, Katarzyna Szczepańska, Lidia Wolińska-Nizioł, and Aneta Suwińska from the Department of Embryology, Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw, in collaboration with Marcin Bednarek from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and the ALAB Bioscience laboratory, have co-authored a paper on the role of activin A in the development of the female urogenital system and its significance for fertility. The article, titled ‘Reduced activin A levels impair urogenital system development and compromise female mouse fertility’ was published in the journal Molecular Human Reproduction.

Meanwhile, the journal Biology of Reproduction has published the article ‘Maternal/zygotic knockout and droplet digital polymerase chain reaction analysis question the role of activin A in preimplantation mouse embryo development’. This paper is the result of a collaboration between our team and scientists from the Czech Republic. The co-authors include Eliza Winek, Katarzyna Szczepańska, Lidia Wolińska-Nizioł, Katarzyna Zgódka, Michaela Vaskovicova, David Drutovic, and Aneta Suwińska.
